Help!

How do you teach a 2-year-old not to throw toys at the window, at the dog, at you?

Advice, now, please!!

I would think he's interested in what happens when he does - is that possible?

Two is not too young for a time-in - very brief, less than a minute - but he can sit without toys while you make eye contact and explain just WHY this isn't okay for that minute.

Are you reading books yet? There are a couple I've bought that are quick, simple, full of picutures - like this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0448436124/ref=ox_ya_oh_product

Thanks, Kyburg, I haven't seen that book! I love Karen Katz - we read "Where is Baby's Belly Button" and "Where is Baby's Birthday Cake" pretty much every day. Quinn's current fave is her "10 Tiny Babies," which we read MANY times a day because the MaMa and BaBa on the last page seriously look just like us. He pushes his nose almost to the page, points, and says, "MaMaMa" and "Ba! Ba!."

I'll order this book today - saw she has one on manners that probably would be good, too.

Thanks!!
