Already walking!
Amazingly, Quinn is walking on his own. None of us can figure out how he's doing it, but he's doing it. He gets tired really fast, not surprisingly, and wants to be carried, which is a mighty challenge.
He falls quite a bit, which is scary - tonight in the room he went straight backwards and bonked his head on the floor. Ouch. It's also very difficult for him to sit up straight because his cast goes down to his hips. That makes high chairs, booster seats, regular chairs and sofas all very tricky.
We're a bit nervous about the plane ride home tomorrow. But if the past few days are any indication, he'll find a way to get through it.

What a dear! He certainly is a determined little guy!
He sure is a tough little guy! What a blessing he is! Not to mention how adorable too!
Have a safe trip back home. I know it will feel good to be home again!
Blessings,
Tammy
Hi Jill,
He is absolutely adorable in each and every photo (even when he was mad). I am so thrilled that things went well. It is so stressful and you guys have handled it so beautifully. I love the photo with Tom carrying Quinn as they are walking along. And I can see the concern in your face in the photo with Quinn in the hospital gown awaiting surgery. Aren't you so glad it is over with and he has come through with flying colors? Our sweet, precious little ones...they are so resilient (thank the good Lord).
Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. We have so much to be grateful for this weekend!
Lots and lots of love from NY,
Susan
